If you like to get in contact with these friendly and calm mammals there are a few places where you can swim with them.

We personally would recommend Homosassa River in December or January. With wetsuite you won´t get cold in the water. It´s not so crowded with people like other places are and the manatees like to give you a kiss for your visit:-)
